Team India has become the first team in history to register 150 T20I victories, which came after their victory over Zimbabwe in the 3rd T20I on Wednesday (July 10).

A second-string Indian team, led by Shubman Gill, is taking part in the Zimbabwe series and it was yet another fantastic performance from them as they won by 23 runs. With the victory, India has now taken a 2-1 lead in the series as well.

India, who started their journey of T20 cricket in 2006, has now 150 victories in the format, becoming the first team to achieve the milestone.

Pakistan is the 2nd team behind them with 142 wins, while New Zealand are far behind the two Asian powerhouses sitting in 3rd with 111 wins to their name.

India has played 230 T20I matches and now has 150 victories. The Indian team has lost 69 matches, while 6 matches have ended without a result. 5 of the matches ended in a tie for them.

The Indian team has played against 18 teams in T20I format. Their first-ever match came against South Africa back in 2006, which they won. The men in blue also won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, repeating the same in the T20 World Cup 2024.

India is also the only team among the full ICC members to have a 100 per cent winning record against Associate Nations. As India reached the landmark 150 victories, here are the list of their wins by opponents.
