In an interview, he shared that his separation brought him a sense of relief and he started feeling better after the divorce. He also mentioned that his medication for depression was reduced after the separation. Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar were married for several years before she filed for divorce in 2022, accusing him of domestic violence and infidelity. The divorce was finalized in November 2023.
