According to the India Meteorological Department's Regional Centre in Delhi, while there may be some heatwave conditions in isolated places of Delhi, there are no red alerts for a severe heatwave anytime soon.

According to the IMD report, today, 25 May, there will be heatwave conditions in some isolated regions, but the highest temperature for today will only be 43°C. Still, there is also a prediction of a warm night, so those who plan to go vote later in the evening may want to be wary and carry a lot of water.
