How 23-Game Unbeaten Run Helped Manchester City Win the 2023/24 Premier League Title!

After their memorable treble winning campaign last season, Manchester City were considered out-and-out favourites to win the Premier League title once again in 2023/24. However, the Cityzens had a month to forget between November and December, that saw them slip to the fifth spot momentarily.

With Arsenal and Liverpool in good form heading into the Christmas period, it seemed likely that one of the two can go on to win the title. However, Pep Guardiola's side scripted a 23-game unbeaten run that would eventually conclude with them becoming the champions of England for the fourth time in a row.

City's unbeaten run started on 10th December when they beat Luton 2-1 at Kenilworth Road, picking up much needed three points. In April and May, City played a total of nine Premier League games, winning each one of them to overtake Liverpool and eventually Arsenal before the decisive gameweek 38.
