Trippier is a decent full-back with brilliant attacking prowess. He is a dead-ball specialist capable of putting good crosses into the box. Defensively he is sold and challenging to get past.

Centre-backs: John Stones and Harry Maguire

Southgate has favoured centre-backs that are confident in possession, and John Stones and Harry Maguire meet this criteria. Stones has been ever-present for Gareth Southgate's side, even playing at the European Championships last summer.

The  Manchester City man is brilliant with the ball at his feet and can split defences open with one pass. Maguire is brilliant with the ball at his feet, and despite not playing as many games this season, he is still one of England's best defenders. 

Midfield: Jude Bellingham-Declan Rice-James Maddison 

England will be better off with a three-man midfield. Declan Rice is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and will perform the role perfectly for the Three Lions. The West Ham man is brilliant in progressing the ball and regaining possession. 

Ahead of should be  Jude Bellingham and Mason Mount. Bellingham is one of the best young players at the moment. He is an engine and capable of causing the opposition problems in attack and helping his team out in defence. 

On other hand, James Maddison a creative player who can pull the strings between the lines and open opposition defences with a pass. He is dangerous in set-piece situations and will be vital in England’s attack.

Attack: Phil Foden-Harry Kane- Bukayo Saka

England have a lot of talent in the final third that will cause any manager a selection headache. Harry Kane is the undisputed starter for England and will be expected to score and create space for his supporting cast.

Phil Foden has been crucial side this season and may replicate the same form for his country insimilar role. The Manchester City man has scored six goals, set up three, and will take his decent form into the World Cup.

On other hand, Saka a star performer at the European Championships and scored in England’s 3-3 draw against Germany. He is also in decent form and plays beautifully for his country when called.
