How to start with a balanced diet?
To have a balanced diet is an important aspect in our diet but how to start up with it is a step that needs some focus. While we consume a wide variety of foods in the right proportions and drinking the right litres it maintains our body weight rightly.
But those who have a prescribed diet and have certain medical conditions that demands for a special concern should discuss about their diet with their doc.
Now how should you plan out your balanced diet, here are few ways to do that.
• At least have 5 portions of variety of fruit and vegetables every day.
• Have a little portion of meals that have higher fibre starchy foods like potatoes, bread, rich or pasta.
• Have some dairy alternatives like soya drinks or you can prefer for dairy themselves.
• You can eat some beans, pulses, fish, eggs, meat and other kinds of protein.
• Include unsaturated oils and spreads into your meals in small portions.
• The mandatory rule, drink plenty of fluids that's like at least 6 to 8 glasses in a day.
If you have foods and drinks that are high in fat, salt and sugar, reduce them down slowly. Also choose different main foods from the wide range of nutrients.
