Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan revealed that he was captivated by Deepika Padukone's effortless dancing during the filming of the song "Sher Khul Gaye" for their upcoming movie "Fighter." Hrithik admitted that he thought Deepika danced more effortlessly than him, leading him to modify his steps and incorporate her style.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Fighter" features the first on-screen pairing of Hrithik and Deepika as Indian Air Force pilots. Hrithik shared his experience of working with Deepika, emphasizing a particular dance sequence where he decided to change his steps after being impressed by Deepika's performance.
Despite putting in a lot of effort to get the steps right, Hrithik felt Deepika's dancing looked effortless. He even halted the shoot, asking Deepika to perform the steps again so he could understand and incorporate her style into his own dancing. Deepika, slightly embarrassed, acknowledged Hrithik's compliment as a significant one.
Hrithik expressed that collaborating with Deepika for "Fighter" was seamless, praising her for bringing realism to her work. He highlighted the vulnerability and authenticity she brought to her character, making their scenes together compelling and real. Deepika, while finding it hard to believe Hrithik's praise, appreciated his acknowledgment.
"Fighter," also starring Anil Kapoor, is set to release on January 25. This film marks the third collaboration between Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan, following "Bang Bang" and "War."
