Musk who aims to build Twitter 2.O after firing huge number of employers now have given ultimatum to the remaining employees to give consent on whether they are willing for long hours at high intensity, or decide to leave by collecting three months of severance pay, according to reports.
Hundreds of employees have decided to resign after Musk's ultimatum, and aren't willing willing to work in 'hardcore environment,' according to reports by Washington Post.
Those who wished to continue had to sign the ultimatum and send by 5pm. After the deadline hit, hundreds of employees started posting farewell messages on the social media, and many announced their decision to leave on the microblogging platform.
According to some reports, 42% of 180 people chose the answer for "Taking exit option, I'm free!"
Thought its still unclear how many employees have chosen to stay but the number of resignation seems high, including engineer's who play core roles in Twitter's working.
Twitter offices were closed on Monday to avoid confusion over which people still have access to the company property.
One Twitter employee said in a tweet that deciding to join the company was "one of the easiest decisions ever made. Deciding to leave today was 100% the opposite.
Another Twitter employee of nearly a decade posted a video which shows him with four other colleagues. The group counted down the seconds to Musk's deadline, saying they had all decided not to be part of the new Twitter.
