I fell in love with Harry Potter many years ago, and it has become such an important part of my life that I cannot forget it. I know people who are simply abandoning it and removing HP from their lives. I sincerely respect it, but I can't do it. Harry Potter has been such a constant in keeping me sane.

In my head, I've just separated the work from the author. Harry Potter is still very important to me, and while I accept the fact that it was written by JK Rowling, I do not respect her. I'm not supporting her or her remarks. In my mind, the JK Rowling who authored Harry Potter and the JK Rowling who makes Twitter remarks are two different people.
