I mean if somebody wants to boycott Starbucks, I don't mind or care, because honestly their coffee is horrible.
But if they want to boycott startbucks for their inclusitivity I surely do have a problem with that.
The New ad film of Starbucks of their latest campaign ‘It Starts With Your Name’ is trying to call for transgender people in the society.
And why should be there any boycott in that?
In India Section 377 is decriminalized, at the Supreme Court we're fighting for the legalization of same-sex marriage, and here are some citizens, living with mindset of ancient times protesting against something which always existed.
No wonder India actually does need more recognition for the LGBTQIA+ and same-sex marriage should be legalised, so thought because it being a law, the stigma and taboo associated goes away. I mean I know it's a process, a continuous process which will take years.
But with law, the transition can be a little smoother, if not better for the community.
Maybe this time I might also give a chance to starbucks coffee, just for their thoughts on inclusitivity :")
