Explain the situation to your professor first.

I was speaking with a college professor today who told me - I wish students would talk to me because students simply withdraw and stop showing up, leaving professors to wonder what happened. 

There are options, and professors can often help. And I know that term exams can be discouraging or overwhelming for a lot of you.

However, before you drop a class, please consult with your professor.
