Implementing the administrative decision to build a wall in the IIT BHU campus is no less than a challenge. The Act that was made when BHU got the status of IIT in 2012 also included the proposal that IIT would not be separate from BHU University. About five years ago, there was an initiative to build a boundary wall in the IIT BHU campus but it could not be implemented.Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya started Banaras Engineering College in 1919 for engineering studies, three years after the establishment of BHU. Later its name became IT BHU. It got the status of IIT in 2012. For this, an Amendment Act was also passed in which many important decisions were taken regarding IIT BHU along with other IITs across the country. After this act, IT became IIT BHU. To implement the decision to build the wall, there may be a need to amend the Act. . University may have to face the displeasure of BHU students as well as teachers.

To which the senior officers of that time had agreed. In this, it was decided to have a centralized system of security, water, electricity as well as health related facilities. The same thing was going on. Here, gradually over the years, the IIT administration took the initiative to separate itself from the systems one by one.
