In view of Dev Deepawali in Varanasi , the Ganga Mahotsav to be held at Rajghat will be held at Assi Ghat this time. The tourism department has started preparations for this. This time singer Kailash Kher and drummer Shivmani will give a special performance at the Ganga Mahotsav.Deputy Director Tourism RK Rawat said that the main event of Ganga Mahotsav will be held at Assi Ghat. The list of artists participating in it will be finalized soon. This time 12 lakh diyas will be lit on Dev Deepawali. Apart from the main squares of the city, preparations have been made to decorate public buildings with garlands. Diyas and wicks will be distributed a day before Dev Deepawali.
