Yesterday was historic and another milestone has been added in India's journey through space! ✨️
First the moon and now the sun! 🌝
As India's first solar observatory Aditya-L1 has successfully entered the Halo orbit around the L1 point.
With Aditya-L1 reaching it's destination, it is a momentous event in history that takes India closer to our civilizational goal of achieving human welfare through excellence in science and technology.
A massive congratulations to ISRO and its scientists for successfully parking a spacecraft at the L1 point on their first attempt! 🇮🇳
Aditya-L1 fired its thrusters for its final major burn and successfully performed the L1 insertion maneuver, placing itself into a halo orbit around the Lagrange 1 (L1) located roughly 15 lakh km away from Earth.
It will now stay there for at least 5 years to study solar activity and the different layers of the Sun. ☀️
India being unstoppable in its space journey! 🚀 this is just the beginning 🔥
