It's 1-1 for the young brigade of Indian Cricket Team T20I against Zimbabwe.
After the first defeat, the Shubman Gill-led Indian men’s cricket team bounced back in the second match.
The young Indian team will now look to keep the winning momentum and emerge victorious in the remaining three matches as well to seal the series on away soil.
With Indian winning World Cup, the young brigade of Men's Cricket will boost India’s batting, but at the same time, it will also give the Indian team management a selection headache.
Young opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal, wicketkeeper Sanju Samson, and all-rounder Shivam Dube are back in the Indian team for the last three T20Is against Zimbabwe, which will be played at Harare Sports Club on July 10, 13, and 14, respectively. The trio was part of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup 2024 title in the West Indies and the USA last month. They missed the first two T20Is against Zimbabwe due to Team India’s delayed arrival from the West Indies after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa in Barbados on June 29.
B Sai Sudharsan, who made his T20I debut for India on Sunday (July 7) during the second T20I but didn’t get a chance to bat, will return home along with KKR pacer Harshit Rana and Punjab Kings wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma. The trio was named in the Indian squad for the first two matches only.
