The World Leaders are attending the mega G20 event in New Delhi and India will be serving grand meals on silver and gold-plated utensils.

Iris Jaipur held a preview of some of its silverware in New Delhi and revealed that several luxury hotels had requested it order custom-made tableware and silverware for use by foreign visitors while they are staying at the hotels.

According to Laksh Pabuwal of the silverware firm, most tableware has a basis of steel, brass or a combination of the two, with an attractive coating of silver, while some items including plates that will carry glasses to be used for serving welcome drinks, have gold plating. About 15,000 silverware crafted by 200 artisans have been made on the occasion of the G20 Summit.
