Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set for the launch!!
They're gearing up for the Chandrayaan 3 mission, their second attempt to achieve a soft landing on the moon's surface.
If successful, India will join the elite group of countries that have accomplished this remarkable feat.
The launch is scheduled for Friday at 14:35 pm from the Sriharikota Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh.
The mission will begin with the heavy lift LVM3 rocket carrying the Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft to an altitude of 179.192 km in a flight lasting over 16 minutes.
The spacecraft will be separated from the rocket using the indigenous cryogenic C-25 engine.
The Chandrayaan 3 mission has learned from the previous attempt, Chandrayaan 2, which unfortunately experienced a crash during the lunar phase.
This time, they have made improvements to the landing approach speed and braking system to ensure a safe touchdown.
Let's wish ISRO the best of luck as they embark on this incredible journey to explore the moon!
