Do you know ? One in three women worldwide experience physical or sexual violence — mostly by an intimate partner !

Globally , 35% of women and girls will experience some form of physical and/or sexual violence . In some countries , the statistics are closer to 70% ! Things are getting worse day by day .

It’s November 25th today - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women . It raises awareness regarding an ongoing human rights issue . Today , many women around the world are still subject to rape and other types of violence ! Through the years , many leaders and other peoples have lead the charge to curb violence against women and girls . But Unfortunately , it is still all too common ! Violence against women continues to be a widespread .

This year's theme is “UNITE! Activism to end violence against women and girls” .

The problem is - Many women and girls who experience violent acts against them do not seek help !

Remember - Violence against women isn't cultural , it's criminal ! Equality cannot come eventually , it's something we must fight for now . Violence against women can end only when the culprits get punished . Violence against women is an everyday reality , act now , always and forever before its too late !
