How to check availability for iOS 17 in your iPhone👍
Apple usually notifies users when a new iOS update is available for iPhone. However, you can also check for updates manually by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
Let's take a closer look at the list of eligible devices for iOS 17, its top features, and everything we know about the new mobile updates for Apple iPhones.
iOS 17 rollout time in India
While Apple has not shared a specific time for the iOS 17 software update rollout, we can expect it to become available to Indian customers at around 10 PM tonight or early tomorrow morning. This is in line with the fact that the rollout is happening in the PDT time zone of California, US.
iOS 17 supported iPhones
The new iOS 17 supports iPhones with the A12 Bionic chip or a newer version. This means that the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus, all of which were released in 2017, will not be eligible for the update this year. Hence Apple will be rolling out the new iOS 17 for iPhone SE (2nd gen or later), iPhone XR and the above devices.
