India is sweltering and its just getting uncomfortable day-by-day.
The heat is killing, rather it seems we're in hell. 🥵🔥
Many areas of India have been reeling under heat wave conditions for the past few days.
Unfortunately, there seems no relief especially for North India.
According to the weather department, the capital city will experience a heatwave during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 44 and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. Senior IMD scientist Naresh Kumar stated that the mercury is expected to rise by two to three degrees over the next five days.
The weather office has issued a red alert from Thursday to Saturday, advising "extreme care for vulnerable people" due to the intense heatwave. Delhi is expected to see maximum and minimum temperatures around 46 and 30 degrees Celsius, respectively. A heatwave is officially recognised when the maximum temperature reaches at least 40 degrees Celsius in the plains, 37 degrees in coastal areas, and 30 degrees in hilly regions.
