On 10th August 2020, New Zealand became the first country to go hundred days without any Coronavirus transmission. The island nation, with a population of nearly five million, achieved this commendable feat, under the able leadership of Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister. [1] Ms Ardern, is a world-renowned personality, whose step to breastfeed in public during a Parliamentary session back in 2018, grabbed eyeballs all across the globe. Ms Ardern is certainly someone I admire, along with the likes of Hillary Clinton, Angela Merkel, and Michelle Obama. But the question I want to ask is, how many women leaders come to your mind, when you think of politics? Very few, right? People may argue that the time have changed, and the representation of women in politics is fairly high these days; but I would like you to introspect, is it really a woman’s world?
