It's more of a personal choice; as we are growing towards the metaverse and virtual world, the cost in the digital world is also increasing, but it's more of a personal choice who wants to spend on whatever they like.
There are people who consider their digital wardrobes as important as physical ones.
And the thing about brands should stop it then. But I don't think they would ever because digital apparel is another source of revenue for these luxury brands.
There are billions of people connected to the metaverse world, mostly where they play games.
Besides playing games, they go into the virtual world to socialize.
And if the world likes the digital world so much, what's wrong with brands making them culturally relevant?
Instead, they should do it to connect with the audience.
