Here's a detailed description ⬇️
📌Stand, squat, sit over the top of a handled mirror, early on a bed with your leg spread making sure you can see your genitals clearly.
📌Check the area where your cubic hair grows. Look for any moles, spots, lesions, bumps, lumps, rashes, white raised lesioyred spots or pimples or wart like growths.
📌Next find your clitoris. Look for any growths, bumps, or discoloration.
📌Check you labia majora (the outer lips) and feel of any bumps. Also, visually look for any moles, rashes, growth, lesions, white raised lesions, red spots or pimple or wart like growths, open sores, lumps, etc.
📌Repeat this check with your labia minora (the inner lips)
📌Finally, look at your perineum. The perineum is the space located between the vagina and the anus. Again, look for rashes, bombs, growths and lesions.
🚨If you see something, say something! Report anything suspicious or abnormal to your doctor. Even if it seems to be small it's , important that you do. Vulvar cancer is very treatable if detected early.
There are no screening for vulvar cancer. The only 100% sure way to rule out or diagnose this cancer is a biopsy.
