J.D. Vance needs to learn when to shut his mouth. I mean, seriously. You know, I always want to be fair. When a Republican says something crazy, or when a liberal says something crazy, it needs to be called out.

Recently, J.D. Vance was asked by NBC whether he thought Laura Loomer’s statement that the White House would, quote, smell like curry if Kamala Harris won, was racist. He replied with an equally racist comment. He said, quote, whether you're eating curry at your dinner table or fried chicken, things have gotten more expensive thanks to her policies.

Man, what is wrong with him? Why can't you just call it like it is? Why when a loony like Laura Loomer says something that’s wildly racist you can’t just call a spade a spade? I get that maybe you were telling a joke - but I think that it’s fair to say that the potential next Vice President shouldn’t be throwing around racist jokes.

This is not about playing into the media's hand. A simple yes would have sufficed. It's really not complicated. If you really want to defend Laura Loomer - which I don't know why you'd ever want to defend her - then just say, yes, but she was joking, or something along those lines. But talking about curry and fried chicken… Give me a break.
