Jarmanpreet is an Indian field hockey player who plays as a defender. He made his international debut at the 2018 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy in Breda where India won the silver medal. Jarman began playing hockey when he was in sixth grade. He was a student at Amritsar's Khalsa Academy, and his coach at the time was Baljinder Singh. His school was really focused on hockey, so he opted to play hockey, and his family backed him from the beginning. Later, he was chosen for the Surjit Hockey Academy in Jalandhar, and in 2011, he was chosen for the Indian junior hockey team, which marked the start of his international career.
Jarmanpreet Singh Stats:
His father is his hero and the person who has most influenced him. He admires him and even aspires to emulate him in the future. He was given a two-year suspension after failing a random drug test in the Hockey India League (HIL) in 2015. Because a two-year delay is significant, he nearly gave up on ever playing for India again at one time in his life. It was quite challenging for him to deal with all of that because he was instructed to train alone and was forbidden from participating in any games. However, the support of his family helped him realise that anything is possible if he puts the necessary effort and skill into it. He endured that difficult time with the help of his family and God's mercies.

Jarman wants to perform well at the World Cup, the upcoming Asian Games, and the Paris Olympics in 2024. As a result, he is concentrating on taking each step as it comes and wants to bring home medals for the nation in each competition. Since the Indian team placed third at the most recent Olympics, their collective goal is to take home the gold in 2024.
