Amid the chain of events taking place at the wedding of multi millionaire Mukesh Ambani and Anant Merchant's wedding, the most recent event was Haldi.
Once again the Haldi ceremony was as extravagant as it can be.
Rhea Kapoor, producer and stylist, shared stunning photos of the bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant, radiating in a yellow ensemble. The highlight of her attire was a unique jasmine dupatta edged with marigolds, a beautiful fusion of tradition and modern elegance. The bride-to-be also wore Anamika Khanna's creation.
Radhika's Jasmine dupatta edged with marigolds took 24 hours to create; stuns in Anamika Khanna lehenga.
As reported by News18, the dupatta, designed by the floral art studio Floral Art, featured a mesmerizing "tagar jaal" pattern. Crafted with over 90 vibrantly colored marigold flowers (gendas) and thousands of individual "tagar kalis" (white frangipani blossoms), the design was a labour of love and artistry.
The accompanying jewellery, designed to complement the floral theme perfectly, was another captivating aspect of Radhika's attire. Crafted from fresh white tagar kalis, yellow button daisies, and Thai rui flowers, the set included earrings, intricate tops with tassel strings, a double necklace, a "haath phool" (hand ornament), and floral "kaleeras" (ornate anklets). Every piece resonated with the delicate beauty of the flowers and the bride's vibrant spirit.
Describing the process behind creating this masterpiece, Srishti Kapoor, founder of Floral Art, shared, "Crafting Radhika's Fresh Floral Tagar Jaal Dupatta was a labor of love and artistry. Each flower was meticulously arranged to create a seamless cascade of tagar kalis and genda blooms, embodying timeless elegance and natural beauty."
The wedding ceremony will take place on July 12, followed by two additional events: Shubh Aashirwad on July 13 and Mangal Utsav on July 14, marking the grand wedding reception in Mumbai.
