Jeep is gearing up for the global launch of its first battery electric vehicle (BEV), the Jeep Wagoneer S, in 2024. The electric SUV will make its debut in the USA in the fall of 2024 before expanding to other key markets worldwide.
Exclusively available as a BEV, the Jeep Wagoneer S will not have an internal combustion engine counterpart. It boasts a standard 4xe capability for all-terrain management and is equipped with a powerful 600hp motor, delivering a claimed 0-60mph acceleration time of around 3.5 seconds.
Featuring a redesigned LED-lit, class-exclusive seven-slot Jeep brand grille, the Jeep Wagoneer S aligns with Jeep's global electrification initiative, transforming 4xe into the new 4x4. This initiative is part of Stellantis' broader goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2038, as outlined in the Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan.
Jeep's expansion into the electric market reflects the evolving landscape of the automotive industry, with the Wagoneer S leading the charge in the brand's electrification journey.
