A dream stay
In Jibhi, we stayed in a beautiful abode called the Mudhouse hostel, which is quite a popular accommodation there. Everything about the property was just amazing. It's located in a valley which is surrounded by mountains and trees, and in the backside of it flows the beautiful river.
The hostel offers comfortable bunk bed, cosy cottages for large groups of people and private duplexes for some quality time amidst the mountains.
The most beautiful part of Jibhi is the constant humming of the river, and the clear blue skies during the days and starry nights.
For me, the trip was more of a change in the scenery. Hence, I was there for only 2 days and couldn't explore much. But the two days I spent in Jibhi were wonderful.
I spent my days basking in the Sun, having conversations with fellow travelers, although the nights were cold there but the people were very warm.
The best thing about the getaway was meeting people from across the country. From down South to extreme North of the country, there were travelers staying in the hostel from every nook and corner of the country.
I met a blogger traveler couple there. They were staying at the hostel for a week. They told me about places to explore around, and to try out a cafe nearby, which has good food.
What was really interesting to know about the hostel I was staying at is that it is run by people who have been very successful in their careers, but their passion for traveling got them to Jibhi. They started their project and built a sustainable homestay in the unexplored and beautiful village of Himachal Pradesh.
It was their hard work and hearts desire to create a space full of love and warmth, where travelers could meet, create and share their stories.
And after staying in the hostel for 2 days, I can vouch that the idea behind the creation is duly followed and felt by the travelers staying at the Mudhouse Hostel.
To be continued.....
