"Jinny’s Kitchen 2" Teaser Reveals Cast Showcasing Culinary Skills in Iceland
tvN’s “Jinny’s Kitchen 2” has released a new poster and teaser, promising an exciting look into the inner workings of a Korean restaurant run by a committed boss and enthusiastic staff.
In this season, the restaurant opens a new branch in Iceland. Led by boss Lee Seo Jin, the team includes Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and newcomer Go Min Si. They will serve steaming hot gomtang, a traditional Korean beef bone soup, to warm their customers amidst Iceland's chilly winds. Their goal is to not only heat up the cold but also touch their customers' hearts.
The new poster features the cast's bright smiles, hinting at their close-knit teamwork and family-like atmosphere.
The teaser introduces the chefs of “Seojin Ttukbaegi” with a new approach: shifting from “profit is king” to “customer is king,” and featuring a daily rotating head chef.
Choi Woo Shik kicks things off as head chef of the day, humorously noting, “You know the head chef doesn’t usually do much work, right?” while patting Lee Seo Jin on the back. Jung Yu Mi, with eight years of experience from “Youn’s Kitchen,” “Youn’s Stay,” and “Jinny’s Kitchen,” impresses with her steady pace and supportive demeanor.
Park Seo Joon shows remarkable efficiency, managing six burners, slicing ten green onions at once, and adjusting faucets with both hands.
Newcomer Go Min Si stands out with her enthusiasm, quick movements, and knack for finding tasks, earning praise from her seniors. Choi Woo Shik jokes, “You practiced this, didn’t you?”
Finally, Lee Seo Jin is highlighted as a seasoned leader, expertly managing kitchen operations. As the restaurant sees an unexpected surge in customers, with a line forming outside, Jung Yu Mi comments, “I think we reached the highest profit ever, even surpassing ‘Youn’s Kitchen.’”
