The first look at Bridgerton heartthrob Jonathan Bailey on the Wicked set!

The 35-year-old actor – who is playing the leading male role of Fiyero in the upcoming movie musical – was seen on set with Ariana Grande as Glinda in new photos that surfaced this past weekend. They were filming in Buckinghamshire, England together.

The highly successful Broadway musical, Wicked, is set to make its way to the silver screen as an eagerly anticipated movie musical. Following its debut in 2003, the musical adaptation of Gregory Maguire's novel has captivated audiences with its unique take on the backstory of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

The movie will be directed by Jon M. Chu, known for his work on films like Crazy Rich Asians. The decision to split the story into two films aims to ensure a comprehensive and faithful adaptation of the beloved stage production. Cynthia Erivo has been cast to portray Elphaba, the misunderstood green-skinned witch at the heart of the story. Joining her is pop sensation Ariana Grande, who will bring her star power and vocal talent to the role of Glinda, the popular and bubbly sorceress.
