With each passing day, it’s looking more and more like Biden’s endorsement of VP Kamala Harris was the boost she needed to be the democratic presidential candidate.
According to the Associated Press, 1,000 delegates have reached out to them to let them know that they will be voting for Harris to be the nominee, just over the barrier she needs to get half of the 1,976 delegates who will be voting in August at the DNC.
Of course, that tally is unofficial, and things can certainly change. However, within a bit over one day of Harris announcing her intention to run for the presidency, she raised over $81 million. And that’s on top of the $96 million that the Biden-Harris campaign already had in the bank, which she has access to.
Is Harris a good pick for president? Will many center democrats vote for RFK Jr., thinking that Trump is too far right? With the DNC fast approaching, democrats have little time to decide, though, it seems they have already made up their mind.
