Renowned Indian actress Kangana Ranaut has recently come forward with her thoughts regarding the ongoing discourse between India and Canada. According to her claims, her film work has experienced a boycott and ban in Punjab and among the Sikh community after she spoke out against Khalistanis.

In a series of Instagram stories, Ranaut highlighted her concerns about her films being boycotted in Punjab and the Sikh community banning her work. She attributes this to her outspoken stance against supporters of Khalistan, a proposed state for Sikhs. According to Ranaut, her opposition to Khalistanis has been misconstrued as opposition to the entire Sikh community, leading to boycotts of her films.

Ranaut appealed to the Sikh community to dissociate themselves from Khalistanis and support a united India. The actress expressed her concern over the violent reactions to her films in Punjab, stating that such actions could tarnish the image of the entire Sikh community.

She believes that her stance against Khalistanis has been misunderstood and misrepresented, painting her in a negative light among the Sikh community. She reiterated that her opposition is strictly against Khalistanis and not against the Sikh community as a whole.
