Kareena Kapoor on Being a Highly Paid Actress and Her Career Choices

Kareena Kapoor, one of Bollywood’s top stars, recently discussed her career and remuneration in an interview with The Week. Known for earning ₹10-15 crore per film, Kareena emphasized that her choice of roles is driven by the quality of the film and the character, rather than the paycheck. She explained, “It depends on my mood, what the film is, and what the role offers me.” She humorously mentioned her modesty about her earnings, stating, “This is my husband's house... I am just struggling!”

Kareena, who was last seen in "Crew" alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon, spoke about her upcoming projects. She will reprise her role in the third installment of the Singham franchise, "Singham Again," which features Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, and is set for release on November 1, 2024. Additionally, Kareena will star in Hansal Mehta's "The Buckingham Murders," releasing on September 13.
