Fans of "The Boys" will have to brace themselves for a lengthy wait to see the conclusion of Homelander and Sister Sage's story, as actor Karl Urban has confirmed that the final season won't be streaming until 2026.

Urban shared this update on his Instagram account, expressing his enjoyment working with co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan and noting, "That's all @theboystv for now folks. See you in ...2 years (wish it was sooner) for the final season on Prime Video."

The series, which has significantly deviated from its 2006 comic book origins by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, leaves the ending unpredictable. Show creator Erik Kripke explained the decision to conclude after five seasons, citing that "three and five are the big magical numbers for writing."
