Four top players of UAE cricket team played with the Kashmir based GR8 willow cricket bat and other equipments in the ongoing World T20 Cricket tournament and other team players are also played in their warm up matches.
According to Fawzul Kabeer, owner of GR8 Sports, four players from the UAE team are using Kashmiri bats in the T20 World Cup 2022. These include all-rounder Zahoor Khan, Kashif Daud, Junaid Siddique and Fahad Nawaz. These players will also use protective gear made by GR8 Sports in addition to bats.
Fawzul says that T20 world cup is the best platform for them to introduce GR8 brands and product to the world as he had already put in lot of efforts, travelled to several cricketing nations and informed them about the Kashmir-Willow bat which is a less expensive alternative to English willow.
Fawzul a 30 year old with his childhood dream to make all possible efforts at national and international countries for his GR8 willow bat business and have already done MBA – Masters in Business Administration from Islamic University in 2014 just to be more capable for his business promotion at all level and his hard work of 10 years have yield excellent response from the current 6 – 7 countries like Afganistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bahrain and Scotland and in current T20 world cup, the GR8 product already has gained excellent momentum.
Fawzul’s main important concern with the government is to provide 1 billion saplings of willow trees in Kashmir as the present number of willow trees are on its verge and with new one billion saplings, the material for bat industry will play an important role and boost the production of bats more as the material is only available in England or in Kashmir valley.
