Kate Middleton as is known to all of Europe and beyond is receiving prophylactic chemotherapy, and a family friend tells Vanity Fair, "It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better."
Kate Middleton scared her well-wishers by disappearing from the public spotlight for an excessive amount of time and leaving her whereabouts a mystery for several days and only later she revealed to the world via video message in March of this year that she had been diagnosed with cancer and would be taking a leave of absence from work to recuperate.
According to sources, Kate Middleton may need the entire year to recover from her health problems and is still not back to her formal duties.
When she accompanied the royal family for the customary walk to the Christmas morning service on the Sandringham estate in December, it was her last formal royal engagement.
But good news for the well wishers, Kate "has been seen out and about more with her family in recent weeks," according to a Daily Mail article. Although these excursions have been rather low-key, we're glad she's eager to venture out! "I am told that Kate's diary for this year is empty," a royal aide had previously told The Daily Beast. Nothing is scheduled. She might skip the remainder of the year's public appearances.
