Cristiano Ronaldo was the subject of a rape claim that a US judge dismissed because the accuser's attorney used stolen and leaked information.
Kathryn Mayorga CLAIMS that the Manchester United player sexually assaulted her in 2009 at a hotel in Las Vegas.
As per BBC, he has never been charged
According to reports, she and Ronaldo struck an out-of-court settlement in 2010, but she has now sought millions more than the $375,000 (£304,000) she was given.
Also, let’s not forget that Leslie Stovall, Ms. Mayorga's attorney, received privileged and private material before filing her complaint that was obtained "ill-gotten," according to US District Judge Jennifer Dorsey.
The judge ruled that the attorney repeatedly used stolen, confidential papers to forward the case, acting in "bad faith," and harming Mr. Ronaldo, 37.
Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo won't be charged with any crimes in 2019, according to US prosecutors, because the allegations cannot "be proven beyond a reasonable doubt."
Ms. Mayorga reported an assault in 2009, according to the Clark County District Attorney's office in Las Vegas, but they would not say where it occurred or who the assailant was. Police were consequently unable "to conduct any meaningful investigation."
However, the allegations were looked into once more at her in 2018 which was not fruitful again.
