Kochi Regional Sports Centre fetes Sreejesh for Paris Olympics bronze medal.

Goalkeeper P.R. Sreejesh, the star of the Indian hockey team which won its second Olympic bronze medallist in Paris recently, was presented with a cash award of Rs 5 lakh by the Regional Sports Centre (RSC) in Kochi on Monday.

Industries Minister P. Rajeeve gave away the cash award. The RSC also presented a 100gm silver coin and a citation to Sreejesh. Hibi Eden, MP, and T.J. Vinod, MLA, were among those present at the event.

The Olympian also had an interactive with sportspersons.
