Afghan taekwondo player Fatemeh Jami won the third place and the bronze medal of the South Korean Open Taekwondo tournament with one win and one loss in the minus 55 kg weight and the age group of juveniles. First, she defeated "Li Yenchen" from Chinese Taipei, and in the semi-final, she lost to the Korean athlete and won the bronze medal.

Seven athletes participated in the minus weight of 55 kg. Fatemeh Jami, who went to Korea as a refugee team from Iran, had previously won a bronze medal in the Taekwondo competition of the "Kim Unyoung" Cup. She is supposed to participate in the World Junior Championship which will be held from August 28 to 31, 2023 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
