Kylian Mbappe's Family is Interested to Buy French Ligue 2 Club!
Kylian Mbappe's family is reportedly in advanced discussions to buy Ligue 2 club Stade Malherbe Caen, according to RMC Sport and Ouest-France. The club is currently owned by Oaktree Capital Management, which also owns Inter Milan. However, Oaktree plans to withdraw from Caen, prompting minority shareholder Pierre-Antoine Capton to seek new investors.
Daniel Riolo from RMC Sport revealed that the Mbappe family is interested in the club, aiming to expand their ventures. Besides managing Kylian and Ethan Mbappe's careers, the family runs IBKM, a charity, and a player agency. Ouest-France confirmed that Fayza Lamari, Kylian and Ethan's mother, is leading the effort to acquire a majority stake in Caen.
If Cean gain promotion, they will be facing the likes of PSG and Monaco in the Ligue 1. Will the Mbappe brothers end their careers with Cean if their family does take over the club? Let me know your thoughts...
