A spiritual plank offers us hope, solace and comfort. It also brings meaning and purpose for living. It gives a sense of confidence and hope that helps to reduce anxiety and stress. Spiritual practices are known to act alongside medical treatment to hasten the process of healing. Studies have shown that active participation in a spiritual movement is extremely beneficial for the elderly for a stress free and healthy life.
I would urge you join a spiritual group if you are not part of any spiritual movement. Join a group whose activities and practices appeal to you the most and where you find comfort with the other participants.
