Exactly 10 months ago on 16 Jan on first day of launch of Covid Vaccination in India, I was lucky to get my shot. I became the first transgender person in India to receive it & also the only Trans Nodal Officer of Covid Vaccination. Many Trans folks are still left out!
Some do not have adequate information, some have past traumatic experiences with healthcare system while some are reluctant to get vaccinated with ID cards having their old name and gender.
No one is safe unless all of us are safe. Let strive to include everyone.
