We've often heard that daliya is the "yummiest healthy food" you can have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is marketed by the food bloggers in various forms like meethi daliya, namkeen daliya, daliya ki tikki etc. and it is undoubtedly mom's favourite go to whenever someone is sick in the house.
But in my honest opinion, Daliya is the most boring food to ever exist. It may be because I associate Daliya with being sick. Eat it in any form, and it will spoil your tastebuds for the rest of the day. Including veggies in it certainly does not help the dish.
For a good start to the day, I would rather have pancakes with chocolate syrup or idli with coconut chutney.
As for Daliya? I like it....as long as it is not on my plate.
