Ligue 1 Club Lille Sign Young Mbappe from PSG!

French club Lille OSC have signed 17-year-old Ethan Mbappe on a three-year contract after his deal with Paris Saint-Germain expired on 1st July 2024. This move comes after his brother, Kylian Mbappe, left PSG for Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Kylian’s difficult departure led to strained relations with PSG, ending any chances of a contract extension for Ethan. The younger Mbappe completed his medical with Lille on Wednesday and signed his new contract on Thursday. He will wear the No. 29 jersey at Lille.

After progressing through PSG’s academy, Ethan made five first-team appearances for the club. Now, he is set to continue his career with Lille. It was reported that PSG had tried to fast-track the 17-year-old to the first team in a bid to make Kylian happy and prompt him to stay.
