Love…so magical, so tragic


What is love? Even if we go on Merriam Webster which is one of the well-known dictionaries in the world still, we won’t be able to find the meaning of the word love. Because love is all about experience, we give shape to this word through our experience. If we go on asking people, we will find different opinions on love. For some, love is companionship, for others it fades away with time. For some, it’s just a chemical reaction that happens in our brain. And, for others it’s something so profound that it exists for them even if their beloved doesn’t love them back. As Shakespeare said, “Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out even to the edge of doom.” It means that Love is an everlasting mark it doesn’t fade away. I was thirteen years old when I saw him for the first time and I felt a connection.We were classmates for five consecutive years. It was 2016 when are equation was at peak we used to talk and tease each other. And let’s not forget those eye contacts. It was only through the eye contact that I believe that in love you don’t need lips to talk but eyes to do its magic. I was in paradise in 2016. But then came 2017 and everything took a turn we stopped talking no more interaction and that’s how we started drifting apart. In today’s world, we are now strangers who has the knowledge of each other existence. And, now that our school got over and we are living our separate lives I still remember him very dearly. At the end of the day, even if my stars didn’t favor me and it’s been years since our paths has been separated but even today, I still got love for him. Even today, when someone say his name my eyes light up and my heart start remembering him with immense love and respect. And, even if I can’t have him in my arms, I will always have him in my heart. And that’s all that matter.
