Mahindra is set to launch the new XUV 3XO SUV, teasing its arrival with new features set to distinguish it from competitors.
Previously known as the XUV300 facelift, the XUV 3XO is poised to introduce at least two segment-first features.
The vehicle's launch is scheduled for April 29.
The introduction of a panoramic sunroof is confirmed to be one of the standout features, a detail that was highlighted in a recent teaser. This feature adds to the XUV300's existing appeal, which already includes dual-zone climate control as a pioneering offering in its segment.
Additionally, the latest teaser reveals the capability to remotely control the vehicle's air conditioning system through the new Adrenox Connect app, indicating an upgrade from the previously used BlueSense app. The app is expected to offer a range of remote functions, including infotainment control, door lock/unlock features, and diagnostic tools.
While it remains unconfirmed, there's speculation that the XUV 3XO might also incorporate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a move that would place it alongside competitors like the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
Under the hood, the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO SUV will continue to offer three engine choices: a 110bhp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol; a 131bhp, 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol; and a 117bhp, 1.5-litre diesel.
The 131bhp petrol engine will be available with an Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, in addition to a manual option, while the other engines will be paired with 6-speed manual and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) options.
