On a late-night IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Guwahati, a male passenger allegedly harassed a female co-passenger.

When the cabin lights were dimmed, he lifted the armrest and repeatedly groped her.

This disturbing incident happened on flight 6E-5319 after 9 p.m. The woman, who had recently been in the hospital, had an aisle seat and had fallen asleep with the armrest down. She woke up to find the armrest up and the male passenger uncomfortably close to her.

Fortunately, the airline took action. They registered a complaint and handed the man over to the police in Guwahati.

Sadly, this is not an isolated case. In recent months, there have been several reports of sexual harassment on flights involving Indian passengers.
