Manchester United Unlikely to Renew Anthony Martial's Contract!
According to a report from The Athletic, it seems Manchester United won't extend Anthony Martial's contract beyond this season. His current deal is set to expire this summer, with an option for the club to extend it by another year.
However, the report suggests that United are unlikely to use this option and is open to letting Martial leave for free. Martial joined the club in 2015 for £36 million from AS Monaco and initially showed promise, but struggles with form, injuries, and constant speculation about his future have led to a reduction in playing time.
The French forward no longer holds a starting role in England, often appearing as a substitute late in games. While Martial's destination after this season remains uncertain, it appears his nearly decade-long journey with United is coming to an end.
Since joining Manchester United, Martial has scored 90 goals for the club in 300+ games in all competitions. The Frenchman was also loaned out to Sevilla in the second half of the 21/22 season but he failed to establish himself at the Spanish club.
Where will the 28-year-old be heading in an attempt to revive his career? Let me know your thoughts...
