Ibobi Singh is a three-times former Chief Minister of Manipur. If exit polls coming from Manipur turn out to be correct, it seems that Singh is not getting the CM chair this time too.

‌He is contesting from the Thoubal constituency. Ibobi, 73, though, is confident that Congress will make a comeback this time under his leadership. He was leader of opposition in the outgoing assembly. Ibobi's son Surjakumar Okram is also fighting election from Khangabok constituency.
