According to news reports, Gianluigi Donnarumma is another prominent omission from the squad in addition to Messi. They have been excluded, claims RMC Sport, in an effort to rest.

Hugo Ekitike, a young player on Christophe Galtier's club, might get a chance to show off his skills at the front of the attack while Messi is out.

This season, Lionel Messi has been in excellent shape for the Parisians. In 21 games, the Argentine superstar has contributed 14 assists and 13 goals. He also scored a goal against the Riyadh Season Team, which was captained by Cristiano Ronaldo.
